The track is transcribed in the original key, C Major, and uses basic major and minor chords C Am G F and non-harmonic D and Fm.

"Happy Mistake" is composed with a straight rhythm in common time.

Accent strong beats but do it softly.

Learn the left hand first and avoid learning both hands together in the very beginning. Patience is a virtue. Otherwise you will fail immediately and abandon the score.

The left-hand maintains movement with ostinato that imitates guitar strumming for the original track. Guitarists can play wider arpeggios (as in the intro) so I had to put notes closer together for the score to be playable. Play whole notes arpeggiato (𝆃)

The right hand imitates the vocal delivery by Lady Gaga: a predominant vocal style is legato.

Pitch inflections (slurred notes) should be played quietly.
