Hi, I am Rita. I transcribe sheet music since 2007. All my sheet music are accurate but simple, beginner-level transcriptions with lyrics (singing is good for mental health). Request any popular song in any genre and language.
More Tate McRae
"It's OK, I'm OK"
The track is transcribed in the original key, E Major, and uses basic major and minor chords E C♯m Amaj7 (or C♯m/A) G♯m B.
The progression relies on the minor chord C♯m to build up suspense.
"It's OK, I'm OK" is composed with a straight rhythm in common time.
Accent strong beats but do it softly. There is perceived syncopation in the instrumentation of verses. A twelve-note scale and a metered sheet music isn't capable to express the sound of "It's OK, I'm OK" with its layered vocal and inflections of electronic instruments.
You can avoid playing rhythm in the left hand if you are beginner. Learn the left hand first and avoid learning both hands together in the very beginning. Patience is a virtue. Otherwise you will fail immediately and abandon the score.
The right hand imitates the vocal delivery by Tate McRae: a predominant vocal style is staccato.
Focus on precise rhythm in the recitative part. It is tiring to play with forte touch; play pianissimo.
The aesthetic value of a track is based on two-note melody.
