This is the theme song for the Disney movie Aladdin. There are many versions of this song, but I chose the one by Peabo Bryson & Regina Belle. As the original Aladdin play song, it starts in D major, which gives it a very bright tune, but the version I have chosen starts in B-flat major, which is a little bit quieter. Then, the song gradually builds up with repeated modulations, reaching D major in the final chorus. This song is also impressive for the intense male-female singing exchange at the end, which makes us imagine an adult dramatic romance. Most existing piano covers are in D major, and this version of the piano cover is rare because of its many modulations and difficulties.

ディズニー映画アラジン（Aladdin）の主題歌です。 この曲には色々なバージョンがありますが、今回はPeabo Bryson & Regina Belleのバージョンを選びました。オリジナルのAladdinの劇中歌としては、♯が２つのニ長調から始まるため、とても明るい曲調なのですが、今回選んだバージョンでは♭が2つの変ロ長調で、少ししっとりとした曲調で始まります。そして次第に転調を繰り返しながら盛り上がり、最後のサビでオリジナルと同じニ長調になります。ラストスパートの激しい掛け合いも印象的で、大人のドラマチックな恋愛を想像してしまうような曲調になっています。 既存のピアノカバーの多くがニ長調のもので、転調が多く難しいこのバージョンの楽譜は少ないと思います。
