Cosmos

Momoe Yamaguchi  

This is a piano solo arrangement of Cosmos (Akizakura), composed by Masashi Sada, in the version performed by Momoe Yamaguchi.

Particular care was taken to notate the distinctive sense of “pause” just before the chorus, to enable an emotionally expressive performance (this section differs slightly from the performance video).

Although the piece is slow in tempo, the technical difficulty is higher than it may appear, making it suitable for pianists seeking a challenge.

さだまさしさん作曲、山口百恵さんによる秋桜（コスモス）をピアノソロに編曲しました。サビに入る前の独特の「ため」を楽譜に表現するのに苦労しましたが、感情が込もった演奏になるよう工夫したつもりです（この部分は演奏動画と少し異なります）。ゆっくりした曲ですが、見た目より難易度は高めかと思いますので、腕に自身のある方はぜひ挑戦してみてください。
