This is the electric guitar TAB for “Shin Takara Jima” by Sakanaction, arranged into a single guitar part.

You can see which part is being played by checking the YouTube video.

Please use a capo on the 3rd fret when playing.

[How to Read the TAB for This Video]

Normally, when using a capo on the 1st fret, the TAB is written like this:

1st fret → 0 fret

2nd fret → 1st fret

3rd fret → 2nd fret

…

12th fret → 11th fret

This method works well for acoustic guitar TABs that use lots of open chords, as it’s easier to read.

However, on electric guitar, you often play on higher frets and rely more on fret markers for position.

In those cases, this kind of notation can actually make the TAB harder to read.

There are different opinions on this, but for this TAB, I’ve written it like this:

1st fret → 0 fret

2nd fret → 2nd fret

3rd fret → 3rd fret

…

12th fret → 12th fret

Only the 1st fret is notated as 0; everything else is shown as played.

So you won’t see any “1st fret” in this TAB.
