This is melody sheet music of field BGM “Pollyanna (I Believe in You)” from the NES game “EARTHBOUND BEGINNINGS” (The name is "MOTHER" in Japan).
I create my own scale names for the # and ♭ chromatic scale.
In addition to the usual Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Ti, Do,
Do#, Re♭→"Gu"
Re#, Mi♭→ “Yu"
Fa#, Sol♭ → “Ta"
Sol#, La♭ → “Za"
La#, Ti ♭ → “Che"
The scale names are created as follows.
These are based on various rationales such as ease of hearing, word sense, ease of saying, etc., and after various trials and errors, I finally settled on these five letters (as of July 2024) based on our comprehensive and original judgment.
