Jacob's blessing (야곱의 축복) - Insik Kim

For the Accompanists, Sunday is the day for good luck. Did you guys have a nice Thanksgiving? God is the foundation of gratitude. It was a week of great comfort, listening to the sermon to be a trusted person. Sometimes life does not go the way i want to, but as long as God with me, i can be led by God's presence. 

Today is a requested song, Jacob's blessing. 

This is the video and sheet music made by my husband. He is a promising web developer now but long time ago he was at the top of practical music major during his college life. so you can trust him and follow his way. 

Each person has their own distinctive bounce and feeling such as which part is supposed to be strong, long, short, and so on. So style of playing comes from different factors, which means my husband has a different style from me. For example, Even though we play the same sheet, the sound comes out differently. When I get a chance later, I will show you how the sound of same sheet music could come out differently.

1. Be aware that it is shuffle. 

2. Do not pedal too many times

3. Don't be too strong when comping. 

4. Try using one note five or one note eight with left hand. 

Comping is, to put it simply, expressing the rhythm with the left hand pointing at the chord. 

So, Comping = Chord + Rhythm. It can be expressed long or short. 

I do not use comping a lot of times so please watch me playing in the video.
