Blessing (Dedicated to Joshua Luke) (solo piano)

Blessing (dedicated to Joshua Luke), the 5th track from the Reflections album (2010). Joshua is my son and this piece was composed and performed for Josh's christening in February 2010. Originally composed for soprano voice and piano, it was reworked as a solo piano work for the album. 'The Musician' (the quarterly magazine from the Musicians' Union) kindly described this composition as "outstanding" and "a stunning piece, which boasts a charming melody and gratifying flourishes".
