For Naomi (Double Bass Solo)

“For Naomi” is an advanced piece for Solo Double Bass.

Its music depicts an inner battle.
One aspires for the higher good, but is often caught up by a feeling of doom.
In short, it is the everyday fight between hope and despair.

This piece was composed in 2020 as part of my Friday Composition project.
It was dedicated to my dear friend and double bass virtuoso, Naomi Shaham.
