コウを追いかけて (ピアノ独奏)-坂本 秀一

This piano cover of "Chasing Kou" by Shuichi Sakamoto, from the beautiful and intense Japanese movie Drowning Love / Oboreru Knife (溺れるナイフ).

This piece perfectly captures the film's raw, breathless, and emotional energy. The rolling arpeggios cascade across both hands, creating a seamless, wave-like wall of sound, while the left hand maintains a mostly simple yet driving groove and the right hand's octaves carry the melody. It serves as an exceptional study for pianists seeking to master fluid hand coordination, navigate intricate three-part textures, and develop expressive playing.

Suitable for Grade 6 and above.
