Hi, I am Rita. I transcribe sheet music since 2007. All my sheet music are accurate but simple, beginner-level transcriptions with lyrics (singing is good for mental health). Request any popular song in any genre and language.
"Moonlit Floor"
The track is transcribed in the original key, E Flat Major, and uses extended major and minor chords E♭ Cm Fm Gm. I added original Sixpence None The Richer chords in the chorus but Lisa's producer didn't actually used them.
"Moonlit Floor" is composed with a straight rhythm in common time.
A twelve-note scale and a metered sheet music isn't capable to express the sound of "Moonlit Floor" with its layered vocal and inflections of electronic instruments.
The left-hand maintains movement with chords.
The right hand imitates the vocal delivery by Lisa: a predominant vocal style is legato.
Pitch inflections (slurred notes) should be played quietly.
The melody has sudden changes of direction, from soft mumbling to a recitative style. It could be a better song.
