Intermission (From Monty Python and the Holy Grail) - Thomas "Fats" Waller

The famous "Intermission" from Monty Python and the Holy Grail is one of those songs that you recognize when you hear them, but you have no idea what they're called and who wrote them. And if you're like me and want to play it on the piano, you end up in a dead end because there are sources saying it is actually "Alligator Crawl" by Fats Waller. However when you listen to that song it sounds almost completely different. But fret no longer dear knights for I have recreated the original in a version that is also playable for intermediate players. Have fun and watch out for the bunnies.

Die berühmte "Intermission" von Monty Python and the Holy Grail ist einer dieser Songs, die man wiedererkennt, wenn man sie hört, aber von denen man weder den Namen, noch den Komponisten weiß. Und wenn man es, wie ich, auf dem Klavier spielen möchtest, landet man bald in einer Sackgasse. Denn es gibt Quellen, die sagen, es wäre in Wirklichkeit "Alligator Crawl" von Fats Waller, aber wenn man sich das anhört, klingt es völlig anders.
