It's a song with the same tune, which is "Close to the cross" of the hymn chapter 439 and has different lyrics. This song is used not only during the difficult week, but also during the communion, so it's a must-learn song.

Intro

It just started on one octave above, but it feels different, doesn't it? It's a song that's so familiar and sung a lot, so I like this change in the intro sometimes.

Notice the long blank "Jesus" in 13-14 bars. If you need to drag it for a long time, you can move on to the next time. So, when you're playing a hymn, it's good for the piano to count the beats for these parts. It's not a fancy line, it's just one, two, three, and three simple lines. I made a line-cliche with a half-spaced sound and played it with "Fa-Mi-Mi-Mi-Mi b.

Fourteen bar are a Ra-Ti b note that goes to 15 bar. It's simple, right? It's simple, but it's a great tip to count the beats without stopping with the song. You should try it. 

I think you'll be able to use both 8-beat and 16-beat ballads. Use it as you want.

I only used Arpeggio from time to time to make this song more static. I only used this much, but you can play more Arpeggio. We don't have a separate re-harmonization version, so take note of the change in chord. Especially, Bbm6 at the ending. - F chord progression should be noted. I went from 4 notes minus to 1 note. Make sure to use this song, not only in this version, but also in other places.

<16-beat ballad ver.>

Very nice of you to play it twice. Notice the sound in the first performance. For the second performance, your right hand goes up to one octave higher. Be a Heavenly accompanist who enjoys heaven today.
