Long shot (Re:Zero Season 2 OP2)-Maeshima Mayu

Hello everyone! This is my cover of "Long shot" by Mayu Maeshima, the opening theme from Re:Zero Season 2 Part 2.

Both the opening and ending themes of this season are amazing. While I love the ED "Believe in you" by nonoc, the OP "Long shot" is much more difficult to arrange for the piano, and so I decided to take on the challenge.

I experimented with different elements to bring out the electronic groove of the song:

- In the intro (0:04), I used grace notes and repeated notes in the right hand to imitate the vocal pads

- Left hand plays simple but wide jumps to replicate the bass drums

- Re-creating the bass lines in the left hand (e.g. 0:18 and 0:45)
