In December 2025, a very strong wind was blowing across Joetsu. Inspired by that scenery, I composed this piece as a duet for Guitar and Ocarina. It is an instrumental piece without lyrics, allowing you to fully enjoy the beautiful harmony of the two instruments. However, if anyone wishes to add their own lyrics and perform it, please feel free to do so!
The first two pages are in D minor (Dm), and from the third page, it shifts to the parallel key of D major (D). The guitar part stays within the first three frets, making it accessible for beginners. For those who want a bit more of a challenge, playing the melody one octave higher (8va) will help it stand out from the accompaniment and sound even better.
I believe I have captured the unique resonance and atmosphere of the "Snow Country." I hope you enjoy playing it.
