Londonderry Air Traditional

The most - Recorder Irish Song of all time "The Londonderry Air" ( "Danny Boy" ) has served as a national Anthem of the Irish, Irish - Americans, Irish - Canadians and Irish - Australians. The tune is played as the victory anthem of Northern Ireland at the Commonwealth Games. The song "Danny Boy" uses the tune of "The Londonderry Air", the words were penned by English lawyer and lyricist Frederic Weatherly in Bath, Somerset in 1910. "Danny Boy" is one of my favorite songs. Melody goes straight into the heart. This is a great song - beautiful, magic and nostalgic! I hope you enjoy my pianocover too. A special thanks to Pianohaus van Bremen of Dortmund (Germany) for permission to use a Hoffmann professional Grand piano.
