"Alas! and Did My Savior Bleed," written by Isaac Watts in 1707, is a masterpiece that profoundly reflects on the Lord's suffering and our repentance. As we look upon the Cross, this hymn invites us to contemplate the sacrificial love of Christ, who bore our sins upon Himself. In 2026, amidst our busy daily lives, it is easy to forget the weight of that love. However, the suffering of the Lord found in every verse proves how vast and desperate God's love for us truly is. This hymn serves as a spiritual awakening, bringing us to our knees in gratitude. As you meditate on the path of Golgotha He walked alone, I hope this music becomes a channel for true worship, glorifying the Lord for His noble sacrifice.
