"South of the River" blends Tom Misch's signature guitar sound with elements of neo-soul, funk, and disco.

The combination of the bright guitar riffs, laid-back drums, and smooth bass groove gives the track its relaxed but incredibly tight feel.

The bass does much more than simply support the harmony. It interacts with the guitar and drums, filling the spaces between them and helping create the groove that makes the track so enjoyable to play.

I've recreated the original bass line while keeping the relaxed feel, groove, and dynamics of the original track.
