Summer (『菊次郎の夏』より)-Jou Hisaishi

I created a full piano solo arrangement of Joe Hisaishi’s “Summer” that is both enjoyable and approachable to play.

The first half is kept relatively simple, with an emphasis on playability while preserving the refreshing atmosphere and beautiful melody of the original piece.

As the arrangement progresses, the texture gradually becomes richer and more active, building toward a more colorful and grand sound. Some sections in the second half are slightly more complex, but I made sure to maintain a good balance between musical impact and ease of playing.

This arrangement is recommended not only for those who have always wanted to play “Summer,” but also for pianists who are looking for a slightly more challenging piece to take their playing to the next level.
