I composed this piece after receiving a request to create background music for an installation at the cultural festival currently taking place on Niijima—music that could be described as an homage to a certain story.

Although the melodies are different, I’m confident I’ve successfully captured the spirit of the original. If you happen to notice the reference, I’d be delighted if you’d give it a listen with a knowing smile.
