👧🏻 Sick of sheet music being inaccurate and unplayable?

Hi, I am Rita. I transcribe piano scores for pop music with minimal technical demand as close to the original as possible. Sheet music for songs have lyrics and harmonic chords on.

😔 Alas, at the request of the track's copyright holder, the minimum price is $3.

“Wonka — For a Moment” Sheet Music

🎹 It is a score for solo piano with no significant technical difficulties. Original lyrics and harmony chords are included in the sheet music.

🗝️ The track is transcribed in the original key. "For a Moment" starts in B Flat Major but makes a transition to G Major for the first verse by Timothée Chalamet.

Chord progressions are B♭ E♭ B♭ F B♭ E♭ Dm F and G C G D G C Bm D.

I omitted the instrumental break; instead of it, the part when Calah Lane and Timothée Chalamet sing together was written separately. I think it turned out very playable.

Please, notice that the intro is written one octave lower than should be played and the vocals are written one octave higher. A treble clef with the numeral 8 below it (a suboctave clef) indicates that the pitches sound one octave below the written score.

The vocal part is of modest expression, imitate it in your playing. Don't play too loud. A predominant vocal style is staccato

Notice fermatas in the intro. Hold the pause x2-3 times of a note value.

"For a Moment" is played with a free rhythm in compound time 6/8. It is hard to count for beginners but I simplified the score as much as possible; accent strong beats to maintain a steady pulse. Practice "For a Moment" slowly along with the recording. If some notes are too difficult to play, omit them focusing on emotions instead of sightreading.

The aesthetic value of a melodic line is achieved through the use of stressed non-harmonic tones that resolve downwards. These dissonances that adds movement and tension.
