How Far I'll Go (from 'Moana') (for Viola and Piano)-Lin-Manuel Miranda

A carefully crafted duo arrangement of How Far I’ll Go from Moana, composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda. The structure faithfully follows the original song, while the orchestral and guitar textures have been thoughtfully redistributed into the piano accompaniment for practical performance.

The solo instrument sings the vocal line with lyrical clarity, and selected rhythmic and melodic elements have been adapted to suit the natural characteristics of the instrument. The arrangement captures both the gentle introspection and the driving momentum of the original soundtrack, making it ideal for recitals, auditions, and performance videos seeking warmth and inspiration.

Positions required include Violin up to 3rd position, Viola up to 1st position, and Cello up to 1st position. The writing allows performers to focus on musical expression within a comfortable technical range.
