The Heart of the Desert - Moises Mendoza

A trio with clarinet, euphonium, and piano may be unusual but it can be enjoyable to perform nonetheless. This piece started off my undergrad senior project recital and it sure was lively to hear it. I will say, young clarinet players that are eager to play solo, this is a decent piece to start. The euphonium part act as a bass drive while the piano brings color to the B section.
