This is the guitar TAB for “I’ll be” by Mr.Children, arranged into a single guitar part.

You can see which part is being played by checking the YouTube video!

Please use a capo on the 3rd fret when playing.

[How to Read the TAB in This Video]

Normally, when using a capo on the 3rd fret, the TAB is written like this:

3rd fret → 0 fret

4th fret → 1st fret

5th fret → 2nd fret

…

12th fret → 9th fret

This method works well for acoustic guitar TABs that use lots of open chords, as it’s easier to read.

However, with electric guitar, we often play higher frets and rely on fret markers to navigate the neck,

so this kind of notation can actually make the TAB harder to follow.

There are various opinions, but in this TAB, I’ve written it like this:

3rd fret → 0 fret

4th fret → 4th fret

5th fret → 5th fret

…

12th fret → 12th fret

Only the 3rd fret is written as 0; the rest are shown as played.

So you won’t see any “3rd fret” in this TAB.
