Beschreibung
F. Chopin - Etude Op. 25 No. 11 in A minor "Winter Wind"
A restrained opening melody is suddenly surrounded by sweeping right-hand passagework. The contrast between the singing left-hand line and the restless upper texture gives this famous etude its turbulent dramatic force.
An ambitious recital or advanced-study project with a strong contrast of character. Prepare difficult transitions and recovery points as carefully as the fastest passages, and avoid trying to sustain the final tempo through fatigue.
Includes PDF and MusicXML files for solo piano, presenting the individual piece.
Happy playing!
