🎹 About the Piece and Practice Notes:
This arrangement translates the grand scale and dark atmosphere of Bear McCreary’s score into a rich solo piano texture.

The piece demands deep expressive control, nuanced phrasing, and careful dynamic balance to bring out the evolving orchestral colors. The climactic finale introduces rapid broken octaves that build intense momentum, serving as an ideal exercise for mastering tremolo technique, forearm relaxation, and wrist agility.
