This arrangement follows the original key of G#m. The accompaniment and karaoke versions distributed by various companies are also in the same key, and the song length matches the original.
Part 1 mainly carries the melody line, but it involves many leaps and frequent key changes, so please pay attention while playing. The intro phrase is quite a challenge for shamisen players! In measure 4, be especially careful with the 8th-note movement from ♯ to 6, and practice the “6–7–♭” and “3–4–6” phrases carefully. Also, try using “suri-age” (slide up) for B and “suri-sage” (slide down) for F to bring out that authentic shamisen character.
Part 2 serves mainly as the backing. Keep your rhythm steady throughout. Since the lowest note is C#, please note that this version uses “ni-agari” tuning. You can refer to the released recordings or explanation videos on YouTube for practice.
