For this specific score, I focused heavily on practicality, designing an arrangement perfectly suited for standard corporate worship services and prayer meetings.

Rather than playing the standard, rigid four-part vocal harmony straight from the traditional hymnal, this version maintains the innate fluid bounce of the 6/8 time signature while weaving in a sophisticated yet gentle reharmonization. Utilizing this score will help bring a warmer acoustic texture and a deeply reflective atmosphere to your sanctuary.

As a performance note, please ensure your left-hand bass touches remain soft and light so that the beautiful chord layers in the right hand can warmly embrace the congregation's voices. Keeping the left-hand volume under control is the absolute key to revealing the neat, sweet harmonic clarity built into this piece.

Alongside the original G major score, I have included transposed versions in F major and Eb major to accommodate congregations that prefer a slightly lower, more accessible vocal range.
