This arrangement is for Hymn 264, "Nothing But the Blood." The first verse includes the melody, while the second verse is provided as a chord-based accompaniment.
This is one of the most popular hymns for opening worship, so I have arranged it in four different keys (Bb, A, G, and F) to provide flexibility for your needs. (Please let me know if you need other keys.)
I have chosen a "shuffle rhythm" for this arrangement. While many modern worship settings use "funk rhythms," I have found that for congregations with older members, or in settings where only a single piano is available, funk rhythms can sometimes feel rhythmically ambiguous or empty without a full band. A shuffle rhythm is much more accessible and provides a steady, natural groove that all members of the congregation can easily sing along to.
I plan to release a funk-style version in the future, but for now, I hope this shuffle arrangement helps your congregation worship with ease and joy.
