Misty Mountains (Guitar Ensemble – Full Score and Parts)-David Long, Janet Roddick, Steve Roche

Misty Mountains – Guitar Ensemble Arrangement
from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
Level: Intermediate

Dark, atmospheric arrangement of Misty Mountains for guitar ensemble. This version brings the deep, mysterious character of the original song into a warm plucked-string ensemble setting.

The arrangement is scored for octave guitar, five prime guitars and optional bass guitar. Guitar 5 uses Drop D tuning to support the low register and create a fuller ensemble sound.

The edition includes the full score and complete set of parts, including alternative octave and terz guitar parts for flexible ensemble instrumentation.

Suitable for guitar orchestras, guitar ensembles, film music concerts and themed performances.
