Here is a short and sweet arrangement of All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth for string quartet.
The song was written in 1944 by American music teacher Donald Yetter Gardner, who was preparing a Christmas program for his second-grade students in Smithtown, New York. He noticed that many of the children were missing their front teeth and had difficulty pronouncing certain words. Inspired by their answers to the question of what they wanted for Christmas, Gardner reportedly wrote the song in about 30 minutes. It was published in 1948, and a recording by Spike Jones and His City Slickers became a major hit. Since then, the tune has been recorded by numerous artists, including Nat King Cole, The Andrews Sisters, and The Chipmunks.
The PDF includes all four parts: Violin I, Violin II, Viola, and Cello. The score is laid out with clear notation and beautiful formatting. This arrangement offers a fun change of pace from the usual seasonal repertoire.
