Taeko Ohnuki, a singer-songwriter who started her solo career in 1976 after being part of the legendary group "Sugar Babe" with Tatsuro Yamashita and Kunio Muramatsu in '73, has released numerous works up to the present. Her 1977 2nd album "SUNSHOWER," heavily influenced by Ryuichi Sakamoto's sound design, features contributions from Ryuichi Sakamoto, Haruomi Hosono, Tatsuro Yamashita, Kenji Omura, Tsugutoshi Goto, Tsunehide Matsuki, Chris Parker, Nobu Saito, Kazumi Watanabe, Shigeharu Mukai, and Hiroshi Imai. The track influenced by Stevie Wonder evokes MARVIN GAYE's "WHAT'S GOIN' ON" and is an eternal classic of Japanese city pop, "Machi."
This is a bass tab.
It is transcribed from the original recording.
The performance video is of me playing along to the song using this sheet music.
