I saved the best for last (of 2025): Alicia is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's most emotional and devastating track - which is why it took me so long to finish this piano cover. Lorien Testard deservedly took home the GOTY Award for this soundtrack, it's a remarkable achievement.

Clair Obscur's story is built around grieving for the loved ones we've lost.

2025 marked a gommage for some close people in my life. When we lose someone, we often feel life has lost its meaning. Clair Obscur shows us we can find meaning in what we leave behind for others. Whether it’s through art, mentorship, or simply being present for friends, we honor the ones we lost by making the world better for those that come after.

You don't get over grief, you can only travel through it.
