Full Bass transcription of the latest single from Lady Gaga’s new album "Mayhem". I've been playing this track with a band from the school where I work, and after rehearsing the bass line several times, I knew it would make a great addition to the channel, both to analyze and to recreate the original part, as recorded by multi-instrumentalist and producer Andrew Watt.
The bass line is an amazing mix of Funk, Disco, and modern Pop, full of syncopations and rhythmic "hiccups." Although the main groove repeats throughout most of the song (except for a short interlude), it features so many cool variations that playing it flawlessly is a real challenge.
