Description
"Wir gläuben all' an einen Gott" (We all believe in one God, SSWV 102) by the early German Baroque composer Samuel Scheidt is an organ arrangement of a historic Lutheran organ choral that opened the first volume of his representative organ collection, Tabulatura Nova (published in 1624).
The work consists of a total of four verses, providing musical variation.
Scheidt introduced Italian notation, in which each voice part is drawn independently on a separate staff.
This visually demonstrates the contrapuntal structure clearly.
